CONSIDERATIONS

Getting Started

Building a web site takes organization, setting goals and a budget.

We can help you with ideas and suggestions, but give some thought to the following questions.

Organization and Planning

Think CUSTOMER SERVICE - how can I help my customers online?

Think about HOW you can get visitors involved on your web site.

Think about the WHO, WHAT, WHY, and HOW of your company.

Attack each one of these questions in 300 words or less. Short, concise, "bulleted" items work best.

Create an outline with 5 to 6 main topics with subheadings for activities and services that go under each category.

Collect all your photos, logos and the images that you might like portrayed on you web site. We'll help you with this.

Select a project coordinator on your staff whose responsibility it is to coordinate with the web site design team.

Setting Goals

What is your expectation for your web site? Be specific so that you are able to measure its success.

Who is your audience?

What is your time frame for getting your site online?

Budget

1) Site design, 2) Site hosting 3) On-going updates, 4) Domain name fees
